Balaji Arunachalam (Researcher, Academician, Inventor, Author, Writer, Reviewer, Consultant) obtained M.E. degree in the field of Engineering Design in the year 2013 at Kongu Engineering College, Tamilnadu. He completed his B.E. Mechatronics in K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tamilnadu. He is Pursuing PhD degree in the field of Tribology from 2014 at Anna University, Chennai. From 2013, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Kongu Engineering College, India. He has received Best Faculty Award during the academic year 2016 – 2017 at Kongu Engineering College, Tamilnadu. He has published 7 International Journals, attended 6 International Conferences and 5 National Conferences. He has received the grants from DST, AICTE, TNSCST for various funding programmes. He is the certified IEI Associate member and Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer.
Kongu Engineering College was established in the year 1984, Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, India. The institution has completed 33 years of dedicated and excellent service in the field of technical education. It offers 14 UG programmes, 19 PG programmes and 16 Research programmes in Engineering, Applied Sciences and Management imparting high-quality value-added education in India. The College has got NBA accreditation for UG programmes, Best Engineering College award and best Principal award twice. The Institution is ranked high among the engineering institutions in India by various surveys conducted by reputed magazines/journals/ organisations. In the study of its first kind undertaken by MHRD in the name NIRF, the Institution is placed 68th rank among all engineering Institutions in India including premier Institutions like IITs, NITs, etc., in NIRF 2018 ranking. The Institution has established a Technology Business Incubator (TBI) supported by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India in its campus.
