Dr Ganesh Kumar Parasuraman obtained his Bachelor of Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and received his Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics from Bharathiyar University in 2000. Also, he got his Doctoral (PhD) degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University Chennai in 2009.

He has served at various reputable institutions and industries in India and China. Currently, he is working as a Professor in K.L.N College of Engineering from June 2013. Also, he is a Technical Director in Linyi Top Network Co Ltd, Linyi city, Shandong Province, China from June 2013 on visiting basis. Selected as an Expert member of “Hundred Plan” and “Double Hundred Plan” by Communist League of China and State Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs, China Youth Development Foundation and the China International Talents Exchange Center in the year 2013 and 2018.

Right now he is holding three granted International Patents & filled one Indian patent and published 115 research papers in reputed International, national journal and conferences and published five books internationally. He is a grant recipient of Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST) and Motorola Scholar award, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and MSME, Delhi.

Also, he is an action involving in doing projects with Honeywell Technologies, Bengaluru, TVS Sundaram Medical devices, Chennai and Sundharam Brake Linings, Chennai in the area of Internet of Things and Industrial Automation. He received a china’s most prestigious “National High End Talent Award” from Republic of China , received an “Excellence in Intellectual Property Rights 2016” award from Anna University Chennai for the period of (2010-2015), Best Researcher Award from SEED-IIT Madras and Research Excellence Award from IEAE Society and Sir CV Raman Research Excellence Award from Green9 Society.

He has been invited as Chairpersons and delivered special lectures in many international and national conference and workshops in India and abroad.

His current areas of interest are an Internet of Things (IoT) and Wireless networks. He is a reviewer for many international, national journals and conferences including IEEE sensors journal and Elsevier journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a recognised supervisor to guide M.S (by research) & PhD by Anna University Chennai. He has successfully supervised more than 40 UG, 12 PG projects and seven PhD scholars in his credit.
