Pyo-Kyu Lee Nam Park

Pyo-Kyu Lee Nam Park (Ph. D., University of Wales, Swansea) is an Associate Professor at Dankook University in the Republic of Korea. Dr Lee is teaching Military Strategies/Thoughts, Defense Policies, Military English, Research Methods, and International Relations. He graduated from the ROK Naval Academy in 1986, received his M.A. in National Security at the National Defense University in 1994, and MScECON (RT) in Strategic Studies at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth in 2003. He published “Strategic Military Planning and Amphibious Forces” in 2007 and authored many articles such as “The Realities of the UNSC’s Sanctions against North Korea, and Ways to Enhance their Effects” (2016) and so on. His current research interests are at Military Intervention, UNSC’s Sanctions, and the roles and functions of military forces in peace and wartime.

Dankook University (commonly referred to as Dankook), abbreviated as DU or DKU, is a private research university in Yongin and Cheonan, South Korea. The university was established in 1947. It was the first university established after the National Liberation Day of Korea, and its original location was in Jongno District and Yongsan District (after Jongno), Seoul.

Dankook University was ranked 148th in Asia by QS Asian Universities Ranking in 2010.
